The Standard mobile jaw crushers are specifically designed for crushing ferrous slag, including steelmaking slags.
Reduction of mill’s downtime is one of the actual tasks, when the relining of mills is processed, and the limited space and the absence of free areas around the equipment make its restoration and retrofitting more complicated.
The relining technology depends on the fastening type. The most popular is the bolt fastening to the mill body. One nut is unscrewed, another one is loosened to simplify the dismounting of the coating from each liner. Often, countersink head bolts are cut and removed into the mill by any accessible impact method, hitting the bolts through copper gaskets.
Using the pneumatic bolt removing machine saves you time during the dismounting of liners. Compact dimensions and high impact force reduce the time required for bolt removing during relining. Pneumatic air pressure from 4 to 6 bar is sufficient for the machine operation.

The Zetko Volcadrila is an exclusive machine that can perform absolutely all the operations for replacing the lining and tap holes of electric steel furnaces. ZETKO offers stationary Volcadrila units for placement on ladle carriers and a mobile version of the machine. The mobile version is a ladle lining wrecking machine with a telescopic boom equipped with a Volcadrila attachment for replacing electric steel furnace tap holes. This machine with 3 different tools (tap hole drills and attachment for tap hole installation) can be used regularly for both ladle and furnace servicing. The attachments can be replaced in less than 5 minutes via quick hitch.
The machine can be operated remotely using the remote control panel for a better overview of the work performed and for the operator’s safety. The ZETKO solution has helped steel plants to reduce repair time from 4-10 hours to less than 1 hour. Due to the enormous time savings, the investment for the machine purchase is recouped in 15 to 20 cycles of tap hole replacement. In addition to all operations of furnace servicing using ZETKO Volcadrila machine, another bonus is the ability to service ladles as well.
